Simon
Managing Director & Centre Manager
From the initial idea, as a child, of building a climbing wall, Simon realised his dream through the creation of The Pinnacle Climbing Centre.
Simon has a passion for the outdoors, which has had a major impact on his life. In his spare time he is a keen ice climber and mountaineer, eager to explore the greater ranges but can often be found climbing on the rock outcrops around Great Britain.
Mike
Centre Manager
Mike joined our team in 2020 as a Centre Manager, he is quite the adventurer. From ice climbing to climbing outdoors all over. His knowledge of everything climbing is brilliant and he is always happy to have a chat and, if you need it, advise you on climbing.
Suzy
Centre Manager
Suzy has been working here since July 2013, she is a key member of the team, and does a fantastic job in managing the centre and organising climbing and caving sessions. She has a lot of knowledge about the sport and is always happy to give advice.
JP
Centre Manager
Jon is a long serving member of the outdoor and climbing industry. He’s been climbing with Pinnacle since 2010. His extensive knowledge and boundless enthusiasm makes him an invaluable asset to the team. He is known for his dedication to safety and passion for teaching.
Jon’s expert guidance and infectious enthusiasm is always here to help with any of your climbing needs.
Penny
Accounts Manager
Penny is our lovely administrator and odd one out, as she likes to keep her feet firmly on the ground. Her passions are racquet sports and Nordic Walking.
As our head of finances she will often be your main point of contact when you phone or email to enquire about payments. Although Penny works from home or hides away in the back office a lot of the time, when she is around the centre, she brightens up the whole place.

Cee
Duty Manager and Instructor
Cee is one of our CWDI instructors at the centre. She has been working here since the centre opened, and is a keen climber with a lot of health and safety knowledge.
Having a young family who have been born into the sport, her young girls have also gained her love of climbing.
Cee is always available to answer questions or give advice.
HARRISON
Instructor
Harrison is another one of our amazing instructors, he has a passion for climbing and helping climbers either new or experienced progress through their climbing journey.

Instructor
Paul joined the climbing community in 2021 and quickly developed a passion for the sport. His dedication and enthusiasm led him to transition into instructing, where he excelled in sharing his knowledge and love for climbing. Now, as one of our most knowledgeable coaches, Paul continues to inspire and guide climbers of all levels with his expertise and unwavering passion.
MARTYN
Technical Advisor/Instructor
Marvellous Martyn is part of AMI being an MCI. He, currently is also the only person to complete The Pinnacle Crack.
Martyn has experience and knowledge beyond all, he has climbed all over the world and is always around the centre offering a friendly face and loves to have a chat.
