Caving at the Pinnacle Centre
Here at The Pinnacle Climbing & Caving Centre, we normally run 45 minute caving sessions, all day, every day. This includes a 10 minute briefing and being kitted up with a helmet and a headtorch. An instructor then explains all the safety information and you then have 35 minutes to explore the caves.
Why not try and count the fossils while you are in there? If you mention this and get the number right we will give you a Pinnacle Climbing Centre Wristband. Please note – Under 8s must have a parent/guardian with them.
Fun and Adventure for ages 3 and up
Are you ready to take on the challenge of The Pinnacle Cave?
Our Caving Experience has been custom designed and built to create one of the biggest, most exciting and unique indoor adventure activities in the area!
With over 50 metres of twisting and turning, clambering and tunnelling, you’ll enjoy a sensory delight that’s both fun and challenging. Boulder squeezes, hidden chambers and the awesome ball pool sump are all waiting to be discovered in our unique underground world.

Do you have what it takes to take on one of our special caving challenges? Along with the tunnels, squeezes, slides, ball pool, stalactites and stalagmites, the cave is full of mystical, ancient cave drawings just waiting to be discovered.
Can you collect the set?
And for all of you budding archeaologists out there, the cave plays host to lots of different fossils that have been housed since the dawn of time, just waiting to be collected! How many can you find?
Suitable for adults & children of all ages
Why not get your friends together for some fun and adventure, or have your birthday party with us? Sessions for The Pinnacle Caving experience run every hour, and we have packages to suit everyone!
Before booking, please be aware that we have an age restriction of minimum 3 years old. Children aged 3-8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Ages 3-5 years – 1 Adult to 2 Children.
Ages 6-8 years – 1 Adult to 4 Children.
Safety at the Pinnacle Caves
Our caving system is an adventure activity and children must be sensible at all times. We reserve the right to change the ratios at any time due to behaviour. There are emergency exits placed throughout the caving system, but rescues from the cave can be very hard. Participants and parents should ensure they are happy to accept responsibility to ensure the safety and care of the participants throughout the whole of the adventure.
