Role Overview

As a Party Host at The Pinnacle Bouldering and Clip ‘n’ Climb Northampton Centre, you’ll be the life of the party! You’ll lead exciting and fun-filled climbing parties, ensuring that children and guests have a memorable experience. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with kids, has a positive attitude, and thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment. You’ll manage party schedules, ensure the safety of participants, and create a fun atmosphere for all.

Key Responsibilities

Party Leadership:

  • Welcome party guests and provide a friendly introduction to the activities and safety instructions.

Customer Interaction:

  • Ensure a warm, friendly atmosphere, engaging with both children and parents to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Answer any questions from parents or guardians and ensure everyone has a fantastic time.

Safety & Organisation:

  • Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed during the climbing activities, with regular safety checks and briefings.
  • Organise and manage party schedules to ensure all activities run smoothly and on time.

Party Setup & Cleanup:

  • Set up party areas with equipment, and food, ensuring the space is ready for guests.
  • Clean up after the party, ensuring all areas are left tidy and ready for the next event.

skills & experience

Required:

  • Passion for working with children and ensuring they have a great time.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

 

Desired:

  • Experience working with children in a party, event, or activity setting.
  • First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications

Personal Attributes

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and great with kids.
  • Calm under pressure and able to take initiative when needed.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
