Competent Climbers
The entry price covers full use of the facilities and allows you to stay as long as you like.
All climbers who are not under instruction by The Pinnacle must be registered, or on a membership.
We offer 2 types of registration: a one day registration is £2, or a full year is just £4.
Please note – These entry Fees are for COMPETENT CLIMBERS or BOULDERERS ONLY (see * below)

*We class a competent climber as someone who can put on a harness, tie in with a rethreaded figure of eight knot, set up a belay device and belay for a climber, holding their falls and lowering them to the ground. You must be able to do this without assistance, and to current best practice. A competent adult can supervise up to 2 novices. Under 14s are automatically classed as novices no matter what experience they have. 14 – 18s can climb without adult supervision, so long as they are competent, have a parental consent form and have been assessed by an instructor on their skills at The Pinnacle – please ask for more details.
A competent boulderer should have bouldered at indoor climbing walls before, understand our bouldering safety notices and have watched our bouldering safety video. If you are only bouldering you don’t need to be a competent climber, but you must be able to boulder safely.

Caving Experience
£10.00 – 45 minute caving session including 5 min safety briefing, this is not an instructed session.

Rockeez and RockeeZ Juniors
£42.50 per Month (£40 for juniors), Minimum 3 months, 1 clear months notice to cancel, £35.00 set up fee includes FREE T Shirt and Hoodie.

- Rockeez for 7 – 16 year olds
- 1 hour climbing session each week
- Can work on NICAS
- Focus is on Coaching and development of Climbing Skills
- £20 to top up a Rockee to Climb Unlimited outside of RockeeZ sessions
- Must have own shoes or hire shoes for £6.50 per month included in your monthly payment or £2.50 per session
- Must wear RockeeZ T shirt or Hoodie
- Trial session is £15 which is taken off the pro rata of the rest of the month if you sign up ON THE DAY of the trial.
