What a session involves

Sessions run at The Pinnacle Climbing Centre in Far Cotton and are led by our qualified instructors from start to finish. You can build a session around roped climbing on our main walls, bouldering, or our indoor cave system, which is the only one in Northampton and always the part people talk about afterwards.

All equipment is provided and no experience is needed. We will talk through your group size, mix and what you want out of the day, then shape the session around it.

Team building sessions start from £21 per person, with qualified professional staff throughout and all equipment included.

If you need somewhere to run the working part of the day as well, our Summit Suite conference room holds up to 100 delegates, with room hire from £20 per hour. Audio visual equipment, catering, WiFi and parking are included, so you can run a morning of meetings and an afternoon on the walls without moving anybody between venues.

Who it suits

It works well for away days, department socials, staff rewards, onboarding groups of new starters, and client entertaining. Groups of very mixed fitness are fine, because the walls range from straightforward to genuinely hard and everyone finds their level within about ten minutes.

It is also a good option for teams who have done the escape rooms and the go-karting already and want something that is actually active.

Is it suitable for people who are not sporty?

Very much so. The walls range from easy to hard, everyone climbs at their own level, and the social side matters more than the athletic side. Fear of heights is more common than you would think and our instructors are used to working with it.
